"Behold, what manner of Love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the Sons of God....
Beloved, NOW are we the Sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be; but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is."
I John 3:2
When the fulness of time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law.  To redeem them that were under the law, that we might recieve the adoption of sons.

And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, ABBA, FATHER.

Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God THROUGH Christ.
Galatians 4:5-7

WHAT ABOUT JESUS?  WHO WAS HE?

ISAIAH’S WITNESS;
Behold, a virgin shall be with child * *, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

There was N E V E R a time when Jesus was NOT God.  There was a time when he was not man.  There was however, NEVER a moment when He was not Divine.   He was not created.    He did not have to be born again.   He did not die spiritually.   He was the spotless Lamb of God, slain from the foundation of the world.  He was the perfect atonement for MY SIN.   He was offered to God the Father in my place, because He was perfect.   He did not die a sinner.   He died for sinners.

I JOHN 4: 1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the Spirits whether they are of God:  because many false prophets arfe gone out into the world.   Hereby know ye the Spirit of God;  Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:  And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God; and this is that spirit of antichrist, where of ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is in the world.

(What does it mean every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh?

It is a phrase that answers to the deity of Jesus Christ.   Was He God manifested in the flesh?  This is the question that needs to be asked.   The teaching of many cults do not uphold the doctrine that Jesus was fully God, and fully man.   If a person teaches any thing else it is an anitChrist spirit.)

Jesus was GOD WITH US.

……Beloved, let us love one another; for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.  He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.  Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins…..(13) Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit….(15) Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.

Chapter 5:1  Whosoever believth that Jesus is the Christ if born of God, and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him, By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep his commandments.

5:4, For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world; and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.  Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God.

JOHN’S FURTHER WITNESS

John 1:1  In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God.    The same was in the beginning with God.  All things were made by him; (Creator) and without him was not any thing made that was made.  ….(10). He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.   He came unto His own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.  Which were born, not of blood, nor or the will of the flesh, not or the will of man, but of God.  And the word was made flesh, and selt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.  John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me; for he was before me.
